Content studio / startups, VC, and tech
We are the
content layer
You have already decided on your brand. You know your market and you know your ICP. What you do not have is the hour it takes to turn any of that into a post, a film, or a page of writing that sounds like a person made it.
Why we exist
Social is the last thing on the list every single week. Everyone tells you it matters, and the irritating part is that you agree.
You have the deck. You have the folder with the logos and the brand voice document. Maybe you handed the whole thing to a model that can also read your customer calls, and what came back still reads like it was generated, because it was.
We are two people who do this for a living. Film, design, and writing made by hand, from your material, at a quality that survives a scroll. In a market where everything sounds and looks the same, that is the entire offer.
What we make
01
Video and motion graphics
Launch films, founder stories, product walkthroughs, and the motion work that holds a cut together.
02
Graphic design
Your brand assets actually put to use. Decks, stills, covers, and the small pieces that make a feed look deliberate.
03
Short-form social
Vertical cuts and native posts made for the platform they land on, not resized on the way out the door.
04
Long-form writing
Blogs and newsletters that carry one argument through to the end instead of restating the category.
05
Ghostwriting
Your LinkedIn in your voice, on a cadence you do not have to think about every Monday.
How it goes
01
You send the folder
The deck, the brand kit, the call recordings, whatever already exists. We read all of it before we make anything.
02
We come back with work, not a proposal
A short direction and a first batch, so you are reacting to real cuts and real copy rather than a slide about them.
03
Then it runs
A steady cadence of film, design, and writing. You approve, we publish, and social stops being the thing that slipped again.
Selected work
The first case studies are being written up.
Until they are here, the reel is one email away. Ask for the cut that looks most like the thing you need.
Ask for the reelWho you work with
Two people, and no account manager in between.
Michela Keller works across VC communications, growth, and content. Her partner has spent four years in the film industry and joins karu full time in December. Seven years of combined experience, which in practice means the person you brief is the person who edits the cut.
Small on purpose. It is the only way the work stays specific to you.
Start here
Tell us what is sitting in the folder.
A deck, a brand kit, a half-finished launch video, a LinkedIn account that has not been touched since the round closed. Send it over and we will tell you what we would make with it.
